heads up to anyone thinking about uninstalling for disk space the gw2 uninstaller just deletes the whole install folder even things that the installer doesn't put there so if you use any modified .dll fuckery for addons or you have your nexus mods installed in the game directory that shit all gets wiped....hope this helps someone escape my fate thats gonna be a gay 5 hours when I reinstall in 6 months and have to track down all the bullshit I need to make this game playable. So yeah either back that stuff up or install it elsewhere (although the .dll stuff HAS to be in the game folder so there's no saving that)

I have never made a legendary weapon and I dont think I ever will. Finding where in the game a random ascended piece of gear that fits my build is more fun for me. Just seems to me like a 1600 gold skin and I could convert that gold to gems and get something neat from the shop.

Especially because Ancient Coins can get you quite a bit of stuff for gearing like stat selectable ascended gear. If you have full legendary gear, sure it won't seem much. But it's a really accessible way to get some guaranteed ascended. Additionally now that I have Gharr Leadclaw unlocked I can dump all my useless Bloodstone Dust and Empyreal Shards into him for weekly loot bags.
