Hitting early game snipes is important, maybe do some vs bots matches to get used to the scope. Enemies below 50% health glow red and take extra damage, full charge gives extra damage, headshots give extra. In general you should almost always shoot only when they are already below 50%, charge fully only if you are confident they wont be able to get away in the second it takes, and hit headshots only if you are really good or its an easy shot, 20% extra damage from headshot isnt that major compared to completely missing. Apart from snipes, flight is your primary ability, gives extra damage but can occasionally make aiming harder and makes you a big target. Rebind fly up to a different key from your dash and you'll be able to use a dash during it for mobility, you're also able to flight cancel; cancel flight right before reaching its apex of climb and you'll maintain its momentum, thus you get about the same distance you'd get from a dash jump for no stamina. Useful escape tool. tbc

In general if youve got big stacks you can start getting rid of some purple items you built for your snipe late game to get as many yellows as possible. However if you dont have stacks you can build greater expansion, duration, CD, and lightning scroll, and maybe echo shard for the stake to shift into a hybrid support build. Stake with duration and expansion is amazing CC, echo shard allows you to spam it (dont do this if they have a Dynamo, reddit professor can just bail his entire team from this on a 13 second base CD), lightning scroll can be applied separately with each snipe to spam stun whoever the mechahitler of the enemy team is. I suppose you can also pick up recharging rush to get an extra charge per 24 seconds now if you want to do the scroll spam.

>>563394751playing Graves just isnt fun, i liked her a lot when she first came out and could generally catch people out with the echo shard + heroic aura combo on skulls, and even though that combo should be better now that skulls have better damage and scaling, everyone knows know that its really easy to kill the skulls, and that you should do it asap, so its just a waste of time. Echoshard 2 became a thing for three days and was a nice way to play her too, but it got rightfully nerfed and while its still fun when it works, it isnt consistent enough to build around. They really forced her down a hybrid gun carry build even though she's boring shit as a gun carry, you have a slow early game where you have to play incredibly passively due to having no health, no mobility and no reliable burst damage, your only chance of winning lane is getting super value from your first ult, then you have to spend 15-20 minutes farming a side line, occasionally coming out of the lane/jungle to throw down the grave and split push for map pressure. Then late game you suddenly have insane damage and sustain and play to charge down enemy carries to suck their damage. I guess the reason i dont like her is that she only really shows up late game; I would rather her late game be weakened from its current state and her early-mid game strengthened so she isnt such an afk bot
