I think this is the worst main story chapter, at least sharing the title with 2.2. But 2.2 had more Urd.75% of it is fucking nothing. The young guy getting transformed and the too young soldiers fighting for their homeland had potential, but it falls completely flat. Rayashki worked, this doesn’t. I liked the notes about Ivan being insane to his reversed mother, but otherwise it’s like who is this man why do I care. I’m glad I didn’t pull Igor sight unseen when I was previously rather excited for him.

In every game I've played I've never seen power creep worse than this, practically every new patch, one of the new characters or new euphorias is the best in the whole game and makes some past characters obsolete. This forces the devs to "balance" end game bosses (Reveries) by giving them overly almost impossible gimmicks. All this does is make it so that these boss fights aren't won through actual game strategy but having the exact correct team that counters the gimmick. If you don't have one of the 3 characters who counter the gimmick? Too bad! you don't get to pass the level!The power creep is just getting worse over time, I just don't understand how this is a good business model at all. At a certain point, people will realize there's no point in spending money on the game if the characters they summon or buy skins for are just gonna be obsolete in a few months anyways. This will surely kill the game in a few years.

When you get to the sidemodes that's when you're asked to do some effort unless you have a kitted out team already and then you'll go back to autoing. They typically have some ultra hard mode for whales so you can dickwave numbers.
