The only frame that uses shieldgate and isnt also miserable doing it is Garuda. Otherwise you have so many other options for being effectively invincible, you can play Dante, Revenant, Valkyr, Hildryn or a persistence health tank frame like Lavos or Inaros (will require an arcane and lifesteal weapons to play those builds), or even an invis frame which ignores aggro altogether. Probably a lot better if you pair it with grouping but I still have fun without that. Ballistica prime has the unique affect of turning enemies into specters that fight for you, doesn't last long though. I've had fun with it using a self primer build and an acuity build. Brakk is really funny with ammo efficiency and fire rate mods/arcanes. Seer you will have to force to be good, it's only gimmick is retarded zoom and ragdolling corpses. It has a unique sound and design though.
