kingmaker has aged so poorly it's almost unbelievable except in one weird respect: the graphics and art style are somehow more consistent and pleasant to me than either WOTR or RT. they are a bit sparse, but extremely easy to read and elegant in a way.WOTR has nice particle effects but feels lackluster otherwise, and Rogue Trader is without a doubt the ugliest CRPG I've ever played, only Arcanum was worse.

Can I get some recommendations on retard-proof builds for Pillars? I'm thinking I'll either play a melee gorilla, a tanky dude with a shield or just run around with firearms. I usually play on normal on my first run through a game when I'm unfamiliar with a system then switch to a harder difficulty on a subsequent run. Bought Wasteland 3 a few days ago, and 10 hours in I'm feeling as though I've completely screwed myself over. Trying to do the fight against the smugglers, and even if I do well and get a good chunk of them thinned out, as soon as one gets a bead on a squishy character, it's lights out.
