Pyrotechs tossed underneath the vox also adds up a lot of damage, although I tend to prefer arc grenades against cyborg patrols/drops on the cyborg front. The HMG also boasts extra utility vs cyborgs and devastators, and it plays well alongside the always strong supply pack.Nothing is stopping you from still bringing levelers and/or silos to help deal with convoys or to just quickly delete the odd vox engine, but the HMG is underestimated in its ability to simply pump out large sums of DPS without wasting precious AT ammunition vs hulks. War striders are a bit obnoxious but I've found it's simplest to just mag dump their upper thigh and accept the ammo consumption rather than fish for their weaker spots.>Laser cannon maybe can do the same thingNot really. Shield negates chip damage and supply gives you an abundance of stims to patch yourself up and give you more freedom to go ham with fully heated heavy pen Dsickle.But he doesn't. He's just constantly weighed down by his choice of gear, gets out of position, and chipped to death. Then he'll die 3 times trying to pick his RR back up. He's also addicted to regular impact grenades for God knows what reason when he'd be far better suited by some kind of area denial grenade to cover his ass when he needs to withdraw to a better position.

They come into they're own when fighting many enemies from an entrenched position, but they underperform at dealing with individuals or small groups while on the move. He should treat his Talon sidearm as a complimentary peer to his sickle. When moving quickly across the map, the talon is exceptionally good at quickly deleting individuals or small groups of enemies without slowing down. It's more than enough to carry him while he needs to be quick and on the move. The sickle can then be reserved for situations where he needs to mow down masses of targets. But no. He doesn't micromanage his weapons and treats his sidearm like a footnote to be ignored unless he has somehow managed to fully exhaust his sickle heatsinks.Replacing the RR with quasar+warp pack would solve problems. When surprised, he can just warp a safe distance away and have plenty of time to spin up the sickle. The same for creating breathing room to charge the quasar.

should I use frags or fartbombs against the ayys? gas nades are obviously good, and they're resistant to explosives, but frags do a lot of shrapnel dmg and you get more of them for warp ships. i imagine pyrotechs are good too for the capacity, but the mechs are too fast for them and i dont think the swarms of drones get hit by the spinning fire consistently
