Instead, they're static; treated like they always were as they presently are. He's going to have to do a new run from the beginning to get the true end. It feels very "Gunvolty." Majogami is severely underrated, mostly because the artstyle is so out there, and it does feel like an inferior GV3 in many respects. Not a huge fan of deck building/rogue-likes, but I liked Card-En-Ciel enough. iX2 was the only meh game, and that's about it. I'm looking forward to the Gunvolt sequel.

In the past games, dialogue were limited to Copen or Gunvolt's perspective, which limited a lot of these quirky characters as Cope and GV were basically wooden planks who wanted to kill them.Everything else was a step-down. At least GV3 has me hyped for whatever they have planned for GV4, and maybe that's the only reason for GV3's existence: to set up GV4. No other Gunvolt game has sign posted its sequel as hard as GV3. I think GV4 is the game that INTI wants to do. GV3 is just the game that's meant to get us from GV2 to GV4.

So far, we've had three out of the four divine beasts revealed, Gunvolt (Azure Dragon), Copen (White Tiger), and Zed (Vermillion Bird), plus Kirin (Yellow Kirin) as the Central Beast. Each of the four divine beasts has a guiding "house" that centers them, see >>563913906 . This can be the Heart, the Stars, etc. In Gunvolt terms, these are the muses, which are of extreme importance to the plot. Kirin, being the central beast, has all the houses, meaning that can just borrow the others' muses, which she does in GV3 by having both Lumen and Luxia help her out. Her job is to herd the other beasts so they help the world rather than destroy it.Now the last divine beast, the Black Warrior (or Turtle-Snake) has not been confirmed, but it's very heavily implied to be Xiao. If it Xiao, he will need a muse to center him. It just so happens he has pendant. The only two characters in the cast who are compatible with the septimasome in the pendant, who can become a muse, are Zonda and Mytyl (Joule does not count as she already has a muse septima). There are a few clues that point to a connection between Xiao and Zonda that INTI have dripped out over the year (usually in official art). There was also the mystery of the unnamed G7 member who disappeared or "died" during the events of GV1.It's been 10 years though. But this is all too cracky, even for me. And this analysis breaks down from the get-go. While the other GV characters embody their Shijin well enough if you squint, GV is a shitty Azure Dragon. The Azure Dragon embodies wisdom, and you can't say that about GV. Him and wisdom are always moving in opposite directions.

Finally, Sumeragi isn't really a formal military force, and there are some branches of it that are all for adepts being the future of humanity, so thrust adepts into positions of prominence. So that's the justification. This gets phased away over time, and by iX's time, when everyone is an adept, they're not employing children, because they have supergenius, supercompetent adult adepts. So they do a bit of work trying to justify all of that.
