Now, I would disagree, and I think that my position has a more factual basis here since I can simply point to said thematics, symbolism, character work, and so on. It is not a shared delusion of all LiL fans that these things exist. The question is: What type of person are you? This is not a tribalist question. There are a lot of Texas rangers out there. Some of you are the type to only care about plot, narrative tricks, and so on, such that you will read all of Shakespeare and care only for the twists. To that type of person, the reviews will hold more value. But the type of reader who pays attention to everything will see a lot more.

Having her give up off-screen is a disappointingly easy way out.Her route is vanilla with little drama, and she mostly retains her girlfailure personality the whole time, which is nice. I do think they handle the jealousy/clingyness trope better in this route compared to Miu's, as Nozomi interacts with other characters more often which leads to more believable jealousy. A good example of this would be when the dorm mates were helping the MC with cooking, and Nozomi is just helplessly watching.There's another nice scene as well with Suzuka, where both the MC and Nozomi are making katsudon bentos for each other for some baka couple competition. This route definitely feels the closest to something like a Fureraba route, what with all the goofs and antics involving other characters. More drama for the climax would've be nice though.7/10

>MiuI really liked Miu as a character, with her being so proactive and confident. Whether it was demanding attention from others or her confession, she was very upfront about it. I like that she did not just immediately devolve into a super shy deredere after confession. She's also pretty clever at times, such as when she tricks the MC with her temporary move out.That being said, her route felt off to me the whole time. The MC is oddly okay with Miu revealing last minute she wants to do stuff for content/ulterior motives and he never confronts her on it. I thought he would've been mad after finding out his first date was going to be streamed for content, but he does nothing. He's also fine with her not revealing her real name to him after they start dating, and finding out that everyone else already knew about it. Also she never uses his first name, which made me feel even more paranoid that something was going on. I get that she feels inadequate until the end of the route, but she doesn't even explain anything until her parents show up.Once I got to the first h-scene, I realized I was supposed to be taking it all at face value though, since I figured a moege wouldn't have them have sex without the characters being truly committed to each other. Though it still felt disingenuous to me. It felt more like a mini mystery route rather than a SOL route, which I think is what they were trying to go for. I feel like the writing was leaning more into having the drama focus on how nefarious clout chasing and social media could get (eg: her lying and dating the MC for content, but then she ends up falling in love with him for real), but they didn't go that way at all. The theme of independence works better with her personality, but I think it was poorly executed.A lot my issues would have been resolved if she had an extended POV scene like Suzuka, and used it to show her genuinely loving the MC even when she's alone and the cameras aren't rolling.8/10

So I just finished Full Metal Daemon Muramasa, the Hero route...It kinda sucked. The rest of it was really disappointing and just felt like it was sucking itself off with how verbose it could be. Fight scenes didn't do anything for me. Didn't feel emotional toward anything. The philosophy and samurai honour talk was putting me to sleep.It's definitely not a bad vn. I can see why it's so highly praised. Just not for me, I guess. Felt like Muv Luv to me in a lot of ways, and I'm a freak that liked Extra.Still gonna do Kanae's route though because I actually liked her and only got shunted on Ichijou's route by accident.
