It's more about what stat you are looking for. So for example if you want HP + HP you pick the HP chest at the beginning and then there are two possible other HP gear things that can show up. As long as you have one of them it should combine. But it has a small chance to just fail and not do it. It can also combine with other stuff so before you fight the void boss ( second to last boss) dump the gear that doesn't match the stats you're looking for.

The one in all guide only shows one piece but there is always a second choice if you look at the full list. You just need to match the correct stat. For example the common dps one is the Gloves plus a hood. But there is another piece I think it's a helmet that gives the same stat as the hood and will make the buff as well.

If it's under you will struggle. That's why early on always take whatever stat has the most bonuses even if it's not a stat you actually want. It's the only way to keep your rank high enough.

I'm stuck at 17-3 and don't know if I should just chill and slowly build up power to keep progressing or try crazy stuff to break through to 18-36. I really want to try hard journeys but maybe I'm just not ready. Also I'm a latelet so that's not doing me any favors. I could try to farm the standard pool for dupes of my water team but how much would that really help anyway?

>>564015203Raise up your T2 gear, something like +6 top half and +12-15 for bottom half. Skills can be left 3/6/6 for most. 149 was where I beat 18-36 iirc, so that should be fine. If you have Emily, the fight is a breeze.
