I never go for it unless running Sinking, and I never had any problem clearing MDE at any adversity level. In your starting gifts, grab needle and thread, which is a much more essential gift instead of Frozen Cries. No idea why you also rate made to order so highly, it's trash.3) Regading E.G.O. usage : damage is much more important than clashing power in general. Having a good 7 atk weight nuke E.G.O is very useful for clearing MDE, the idea being that as long as there are multiple targets, you can use it unopposed and abuse needle and thread to easily clear a lot of MDE packs. Works with crabs, dawn of green, infinite bridle, a sweet voice, etc etc you get the idea. Any time there's multiple targets, a nuke E.G.O. is amazing. You don't even need to clash.4) Again, I don't agree with some of your floor choices for each keyword, but I'm not going to write a billion words detailing each one. In general, some keyword gifts are OK to skip5) You barely talk about the death avoidance E.G.O gifts when they are some of the most important for MDE. Bridle, Unhatched embers, For you who love the City, the Sweeper blood vial thingy and the Investigator Badge are all extremely valuable.6) Again, you barely mention Lunar Memory when it is the single most important gift to get.7) You do not make any mention of teambuilding for MDE when it is extremely important. Using a double status team makes MDE much much easier.

Also, it's not like I disregarded Clean Thread, I mentioned it twice in the must have EGO gift list5) I have never needed death null EGO gifts before. I don't think I've ever lost IDs outside sea crabs, at floor 15. I just go full damage and debuff the enemy with the EGO gifts until they can't do much against me6) It's right there on the list7) For team building, I thought it was obvious the go-to would the team I have on the guide.
