I dont know if this anon >>563821489 is still here but I just beat this piece of shit while still in chapter 3 with armor at refinement lvl 1-3
here's a clip of it. it took me 3 mins in total and basically I just tried using a spear for the first time. The spear's special counter attack is all you need (and a lot of food, also because you need to clear the whole camp immediately after the boss dies). my spear was refinement 3. took me like 20 tries because if I got hit once I'd die from all of his attacks except 1 if I spammed food while he did it

Ironically I came to this boss because I read beating the camp is requirement to get the Dandelion Longsword which is what I've chosen to be my main weapon, but after this ordeal I've come to really like the spear.
So now I'm conflicted. I mean it's not going to matter after midgame with how strong your weapons get but..... the spear moveset is so good

I beated the game and have no more drive to explore :(

That's why km2 is a useless metric. In Crimson Desert, your travel methods are so OP and they instead patched in the bug exploit methods and added even more traversal methods. RDR2 is smaller, yet it takes much longer to go end to end because you have muh immersive slow ass traveling. It's weird, the mask is basically a crime toggle like the UI toggle in Kingdoms of Amalur to be able to attack NPCs, but it sees like it actually turns things into crimes like breaking scenery. I’d like a feature where after you obtained the pirate hat the lantern can also glow a different colour to signal treasure nearby without having the hat on. So you can blow through the usual boundaries with focused aerial rolls and there's a surprising amount of "safe" spaces. You'll still get the "cannot enter this region" randomly but if you cover a bit of distance it'll reset or just stop entirely.

Hopefully, copefully the new difficulty and boss rematch mode lets you experience the intended difficulty. I feel like 1.00.02 is still too easy once you understand the combat basics so I'm hoping hard mode is even harder. Some bosses I won't feel guilty about beating on easy though. Myurdin can suck a fat cock that squirts particles in his eyes
