It doesn't have to be profound and all-encompassing, it can be as mundane as "if you pass a beggar what do you give them, if anything?".If it's an open-ended question, and you should choose one that is, you'd naturally have several conflicting answers. Ideally you'd address all of them. You can then assign characters to be representatives in that conflict. Not every character has to directly participate, they can just be instrumental, but manosaba seems to have nothing but MCs.It feels like manosaba doesn't have any room in its central question for 13 MCs. I'm not even sure I've correctly identified it. The fact that I can't be sure makes it seem more like there isn't an overarching one. It's more like several questions and you have 2-3 characters each. No connection otherwise.

Basically, she still can't cope with the burden of what she's done and how people see her now so she still wants to convince herself and others that she's the ojisan, and not Miria. This is a pretty unique kind of identity disturbance. She takes on his speech patterns, personality and even some of his weaknesses (it's mentioned that Miria is much worse with her phone than the other girls, which doesn't make sense for a gyaru).She's unwilling to spell out the full story even under threat of being seen as the mastermind because she'd rather be seen as a perverted old man who forcibly possessed a girl and is taking gleefuly pleasure in the deaths of other girls than just being Miria.

]What's up with all the disappearing people being executed in the second half? Even Gokuchou seemed caught off guard during Noa's and Hanna/Sherry's execution. I think it'd have been better if Ema wasn't just a moeblob and had some sort of fundamentally frictious viewpoint with Hiro in the end. Like, maybe if they fused the role of Yuki with Ema - her roots are white and all, just have her be lying to herself with illusion magic to craft the personality 'Ema' that we play as, or something. Or maybe she actively shoved Yuki off the roof (to protect Hiro, ostensibly). She just needed actual depth of character and something to actually in the second half in the background instead of just existing.

Sherry and Hanna quite literally disappear before the final rock hits them in their execution, this is noted in the narrative. Noa 'dissolves' during her execution which Gokuchou specifically calls out as being strange as well. Nanoka's execution has both the guard and Nanoka essentially explode into gore, leaving not a single trace of their body, which is also strange.Point being, I was like 90% certain that Ema had illusion magic (and her witch-killing ability was a gift from Yuki on top of it, rather than her magic in and of itself) or something and was actively undermining the executions by having an illusion be executed, and hiding them away. It also fits with the vignettte of Ema always trying to get Hiro to pay attention to her by telling her that her shoes or whatever were stolen and she turned out to be wearing them at the time. Strong magic tends to have permanence and all, so it could stick even without her maintenace.

Some of the girls get pretty out there power wise once they reach full witch territory (like Hanna tossing the entire island into the sky, Coco perceiving across timelines, etc) so I don't think it's unbelievable that she just dissolved herself into the pool. She specifically wanted to avoid scaring people with death (hence why she made the blood butterflies) so protecting the girls from watching her drown over and over as she witchified and instead just turning into water seems in character for her.

Margo sees love as something inherently sadistic and harmful so she interpreted Meruru as being farther along in her transformation. It's also a good method to ensure with certainty that your target will die so she might just have grabbed it out of redundancy.
I think the "magic can linger after the Witch's passing" plot element is really cool and I wish we got to see more of it in action.
