I convinced a few friends who are in the mid-game to try out this league under the assumption it would be similar to Leagues 5, with the idea they would be able to rush and try some endgame content and have a bunch of fun with powerful builds.The first 20 pact points legitimately still feel like you're playing maingame with the odd echo, heal or blindbag.All of them have quit back to the maingame, and I have to agree that the powerscaling really doesn't hook you in like it did in previous leagues. Only when you reach endgame do builds like Air-mage, thorns etc. shine.For reference, last league 6 tasks would be enough max out one combat build:Defeat a giantdefeat scurriusdefeat a monster with 55 slayer or moredefeat 10 monsters with a combat level of 100 or moredefeat Jadachieve combat level 100Not to mention other issues like almost all pact points being locked behind 87-93 slayer, Echo CG ignoring almost all your pacts anyway etc.

how the fuck do I get past this blood moon defense check bottleneck? Other two moons are ez then this guy heals so much off me even a full inventory of food doesn't let me kill him with rune and 70 def. I haven't played maingame since well before varlemore was released so I admit I'm bad and am probably missing something, but I don't really see a gear progression that'll save me here. Blood armor seems to be the melee progression armor for varlamore after rune but I can't get it until I unlock a region whose gear would make the blood armor irrelevant anyway? Also this league is by far the least fun league I've played, having a hard time finding the motivation to play. Why copy path of exile if you're not gonna incorporate anything about it that makes the tech tree actually fun? If you're only gonna give us 40 points (realistically ~35 for most people) you can't have dumb filler nodes that give +1 damage or other insignificant bonuses. They should've tripled that and made the tree big with nuanced progression instead of like, 3 obvious viable paths and farmable respecs. It feels like pvm is just gonna be unfun until I spam enough easy tasks to unlock enough regions to have a decent amount of pact pointsAlso they should just auto-complete all quests every league. It's supposed to be the fun mode why do we have to do any of the literal worst part of runescape.
