I don't care about this I just want to discuss lore and story and worldbuilding and the occasional interesting hypotheticals.Something I've been wondering about is why I've seen the occasional push about Meursault's mom being evil and a potential antagonist in the next Canto when the admittedly very small snippets we've seen of her paint her in a positive light.Stuff like in Prince Meursault's uptie story telling him to escape and live on, and Meursault thinking about how Outis reminded him of his mother when Outis was scolding Heathcliff and Don for being retarded in the gnome event. I guess you could maybe see the latter as a negative but even so that doesn't seem to be any basis for 'evil'.
