This is a really fun twist and a great way to spice up a second route (you knew SOME kind of second route had to be coming), plus they kind of gave the game away in the OP with Hiro getting special focus reserved for main characters despite dying immediately + they're following danganronpa religiously and Danganronpa loves the first person to die unceremoniously becoming unimportant later. Hopefully part 2 of the game continues the upward trend. I do think I did a bit of a disservice to manosaba, though, because I recently read a VN with a very similar twist so the impact doesn't land as well.
