The PQ will consist of 5 stages. First one will be a climb up a hill. Second is mob killing stage to obtain a key and open a door. The third stage is a mini jump quest for the whole party. Fourth stage two people need to activate a combination of levers after being shown the code at entry (memorization based puzzle). Fifth stage is the boss stage and it drops a key to a chest, you can choose to open the chest for loot or choose not to open it and obtain extra exp.
Friendstory, but it's absolutely mandatory to complete.

Just make frags tradeable within world, bosses also drop frags, and give a small boost to frag drop rates in heroic. That oughta do it.Still requires work, so it isn't free like having a meso shop for frags in the way cubes do, but still rewards people's time.I think the main complaint is how this game really hates when you divest your time to it.

The reason I think this is fair is because Heroic is centered around raising your weekly income through LC's/ctene bulers which takes up like 90% of our gameplay time. We need to do way more chores than regs on bulers especially when it comes to symbols and familiars, which pretty much leaves no time to 'gameplay' the frags anywhere besides your main, and when you're not farming frags on main the gameplay loop starts feeling bad like you're griefing your main. There's no 'afk' ways to get mesos passively or idly like in reg where you can sit on your sneed oil farmers and eventually have enough meso. The important part here is that your weekly income is 0 if you don't do anything all week, meaning that having them in the cube shop would be acquired through gameplay means only (compared to just turning Nx into meso through market and buying frags on auction requiring 0 gameplay). When you leave it to Nexon they don't always deliver what we want. For example if we ask them for boss frags, they're just going to put a miniscule amount in that barely matters and will leave people pissed off even more like 10 frags per grandis boss and 5 from ctene and below. If they simply do that + make them storage tradeable then they will fuck off for another 2 years and it won't be enough. Hexa will increase by 50k to 100k required by then.

It's all part of Heroic laddering progression. Once hlomien bulers come online you can start funding straight into hluwill on next buler, once hluwill bulers come online you can fund straight into ctene. Once ctene bulers come online you're libbed and just levels/frag/symbol gated. Plenty of exp sources these days I do declare and decent symbol acquisition though I wouldn't mind if it's suddenly doubled as well. I know it would probably take a hit on reg symbol economy but at this point it crashed anyway. The only real problem of hseren+ Legion champs is they require constant upkeep as you want the runs to be shorter and push to nkalos. I've done the math and we're going to be close to 110 or 120k frags invested at max hexa which would take 8 years(4 years currently) with just epic dungeon+Erda weekly on one character at 160 frags per week. Doing 2 waps a day reduces it by half and earns you around 500 per week with Erda weekly+Epic dungeon which puts it at 2 years to max hexa currently(4 years with full released hexa). We're getting two more LC slots which means that's main + 5 characters that need to max hexa. So with just EW+ED that's 40 years to max hexa on all. At 2 waps per day that's still 20 years. 500 extra account frags in the cube shop would put it at 10 years to max hexa on 5 characters on Heroic for people who wap 4 hours a day. Daily story players realistically need some way to obtain 2000 frags per week for it to take 10 years to max hexa on 5 characters. We pretty much need frags in cube shop + seasonal recurring fragtoona for 6th job to feel good on Heroic.

the obvious mistake you are making here is that you don't really need to be anywhere near "maxed hexa" to do anything honestly. nkalos mission is like 8-12k frags invested properly with level bonus and 21s, probably even lower once hecate comes. just giving a number is misleading because it's missing that the power curve of frags for FD is actually very front loaded and that getting a mastery 1-21 is like the same frag cost as 22-30 and etc etc

I think the main issues are accuracy/avoid calculations (Which smooth out in 2nd job with mastery, which makes me think they just need another pass at mobs under level 30)and crafting. Crafting needs to lower it's level reqs per tier by 1. needing level 30 to get tier 6 to make level 30 equips is dumb, let people get ahead a bit so they can prep and know what they need. It gives incentive to keep going, to explore more and try to find new items (even if the mobs are a little tough). Everything else I honestly think is fine. I personally enjoy what they did with KPQ. People whine about the exp but it's not meant to be the premiere EXP source like it was, it's an item stock, you get SO many core crafting items and low level scrolls from the boxes. It's perfect.

The classic server idea started in gms, which otherwise largely just localizes content developed in kms. Are there classes with party skills who you want to be moving around the map to keep everyone haste'd up for example? All of this affects positioning and rotation, which means an effective way to grind depends on the party composition and how it interacts with the map in question. Maplestory 2 at launch was an interesting game, it took a lot of concepts like group grinding and brought them to a modern MMO which was basically unheard of in 2017.Then after about 6 months, the update cadence slowed to a major release, which is WAY too slow for a 'new' game, and everyone quit.The PVP and minigames never really had the players they were hoping for either. PVP having p2w elixirs was also a problem. The biggest thing most people in KR had issue with at launch was the lack of shit they said would be in. Gokarts, I don't know if those ever came out, the custom dungeon system got turned into maple worlds, and the grinding>worldboss>raid boss flow got nuked and turned into generic story to cap then raid after a year or two. There was also the whole "key" system at launch which was like a mobile game stamina thing that you could of course pay real money to get extra of.Maple2 was a decent game in it's alphas, betas, and early launch, that lost it's identity very quickly due to the amount of systems they put in place that most people refused to engage with (for good reason, it was inefficient and unfun, like the whole dark world thing for fast travel, but PVP was enabled, people just camped the entrances lmao)The UGC was awesome, the standard set minigame events every few hours was REALLY cool and I wish modern maple (or classic) had something like it to give people a reason to stop grinding for a bit.

The meta instead turned into "go into one of these maps and deatball with 40-50 players, everyone hits the mob once, everyone gets full credit and instanced drops. So the dark world died out almost immediately, the other reason to use it (faster travel where 1 dark world map is like 5-6 regular maps worth of travel) was completely bypassed by fast travel you could buy for basically nothing in the subscription service and giveaways.REGULAR pvp was fucked because it alternated with the fun minigame events like xo quiz and the JQ, but regular PVP allowed you to use your gear and other items like potions, so, people who paid real money for the best elixirs had a distinct, enormous advantage. The rewards for it initially were, ironically, the p2w elixirs and some other stat boost items, but it quickly became worth less than nothing because world bosses like the gryphon also dropped them plus equips so you'd want to sit there instead of leaving to go do events.

Modern maple is a number go up autism game with a large variety of classes and bosses focusing on challenging yourself with a lot of progression systems and mechanical depth in gameplay. Your experience can vary vastly based on what class you are playing and at what point of progression you are in the game.Classic maple is a simplistic, down to earth adventure that doesn't pretend to be more than it really is. What you experience in the first 30 levels is pretty much what you will be doing for the rest of the game. Bosses don't turn into a different game ala OSRS bosses and are really just bigger mobs with tons of hp that function as a damage/pot check to see how far you have comeGames like classic maple don't get made anymore because they don't have staying power outside of korea (koreans are playing fucking lineage again so that's not an argument for it being good). It's the kinda game that will have a ton of people jump into at launch but most will drop it before ever hitting 3rd job, but it will have been a fun time
