I think this is as good as my Ralsei is gonna get. I’m mainly unsatisfied with the horns, but there are limitations with the size of the face paint canvas to what I can do with them, and trying to fill them in or add other shading keeps just making them look worse than a solid fill. I’m actually pretty pleased with his face. I “built” those eyes without face paint so they work exactly properly, but they aren’t one of the presets. I took the small dot, stretched it out, then added upper lines for the tops, and rotated bottom lashes to get the sides, then added a pupil to reflect the gleam of white he has in his face sprites. I also put in a dash of grey shading that come from one of the cheek settings to give a very slight greyish hue that matches his “determined” sprites in chapter 4 and makes his sclera pop a tiny bit more, it’s subtle but I like it. I just painted on the nose because while there are similar nose hole options the aren’t quite Ralsei’s and don’t have spacing options. I tried painting in the handles of his glasses, but you can’t get that to sit on the same plane as the actual glasses, so it looks bad from any angle but directly forward. I guess I could just paint on the glasses too, but whatever. Like I said I’m pretty exhausted. I wanted to use a hairstyle as his ears but those all make the rest of his head look strange, so I painted these on, whatever. The tuft of pink hair is an actual hair option. I’d try to add a bit more to match his face sprite tufts but I think that is beyond my skill level as a non-artist.

Can I just say, I've always thought UTDR were just good but overrated as fuck.
