I have a theory that Mercy is actually a top tier support hero. Her movement has a lot of skill expression and her blue beam is actually one of the best skills in the game if you’re a good DPS player, a Mercy pocketing you will pretty much let you delete the entire enemy team. The real reason Mercy gets shit on is from the DPS on the enemy team tha has to deal with her and her pocketed DPS and the cucked DPS on the Mercy’s team not getting pocketed. My theory is that every DPS secretly wants to duo with a good Mercy who can pocket them, but most are too autistic to find a mercy main to queue with. It’s all sour grapes. They don’t have a Mercy duo so they just pretend to hate this character and that the hero is useless.
