Asuka should be a very compelling character with tons of options and multiple resources to manage and master but nearly all of the spells being cubes and the general APM required to cycle between spells completely kills my interest

Both games are scrubby but having played both pretty heavily and ultimately giving up on SF6, the ceiling in Strive makes it more interesting to me. The decisions and expression may be toned down from earlier games but it might as well still be choose your own adventure compared to SF6. Also just can’t stand how little Capcom supports or engages with the game. Three years in and they can barely be assed to acknowledge the game exists even though it’s one of the most popular fighters ever and people are begging for something to throw money at.
