It's crazy how good early game to mid act 2 feels in Rogue Trader compared to Act 3 onwards. The difficulty just vanishes. It's fun where you actually have to consider targets, cover keeping your team up and have fights that last more than 1-2 rounds.

The destructible cover mechanic is actually pretty neat. it starts to visually degrade where it's actually shot and bits will float around, and enemies have certain abilities with an audio cue that can also blow it up completely. They are also throwing grenades behind cover and if enemy snipers actually get their laser on you when you're in cover, the hit counts (which plenty of other games are unrealistic about so this is nice). So far the combat is fine imo
