Secondary Enervate is really good on AOE pistols, but for single target pistols it's worse than Cascadia Flare with Primed Pistol Gambit unless the weapon has like <= 13% base crit. Also, typing this out made me just realize I don't know if the punch through from Merciless Gunfight is enough AOE to make Enervate better than Cascadia Flare.

Is something fucked up with the coda bassocyst that makes it gain affinity significantly slower than any other weapon? I'm oneshotting shit on steel path with it and after 5 minutes in a survival it's only rank 9 and I'm desperately trying to forma this shit to rank 40, it's not like there's a shortage of eximus and those give 22k affinity each so what the fuck is this weapon's problem?
