Just finished the FC remake, I tried the original many years ago but it didn't really stick, decided to try this one and really enjoyed it.Played the whole thing on nightmare, it felt kind of restrictive at first but once you started getting more support skills it really felt satisfying to have full control of battlesI appreciate that it uncompromisingly commits to having a female protagonist that's just as important as the male one, Estelle and Joshua were both very cute, and I appreciated that (most) party members and even a lot of side characters felt fully fleshed outThe story was very chuuni, but that's not a bad thing. It was really entertaining when side characters job to hype up villains, or how there seemed to be all this in-universe powerscaling and keikaku moments. The ending was one big sequelbait so I won't really make any judgements on Joshua's backstory until I see how it all plays out, but I'm definitely excited to get into more of the series
