The reason that doesn't work well is because for it to matter enough and be different enough, they need to consume A LOT of design space and time making the factions feel very different. They can't produce enough "separate" content in a timely fashion which is why the game started merging the factions for sake of the campaign and raids etc. So the factions matter far less now. In a perfect world, they should either get rid of faction OR make the factions truely unique with stark differences(hard to implement).

how do you handle mob roundup on a vengeance demon hunter? like gathering 2-3 packs? the aoe abilities all have like 30 second cooldowns, even cycling them it leaves me with almost nothing by the time everything is rounded up, but dps are blasting threat too hard for glaive or inf strike to outthreat so if i just do glaives or strikes i lose aggro mid pulli really miss the double sigil charges from TWW, i dont like this new build at all

A good tank, especially a fotm spec will never ever get below 90% hp. You watch any stream of any MDI in any season and you see that the tank basically never loses hp unless it's some disgusting MDI final level key. People can easily learn the routes and pulls but they can't properly time their defensives to have mitigation up for when it's needed. I have ran keys with tanks from Method who were at literally 2.5K score and they pulled like an npc but always did it in a way that never put the group in any danger because they realize their team's ability and play accordingly, they got literally nothing to prove. Maze rat tanks however are full on chest thumping apes when it comes to repeating big pulls they saw on stream, it's really wild how this mentality affected tanking to such a degree.
