It's that they fucking add massive buffs to the bosses to prevent you from using very spefific characters as well as slap huge elemental resistance on them. Remove all the dumb shields, super buffs bosses get and penalizing roles so you can only use attacker or anomaly on a boss and the entire cast now is perfectly fine. It's not the characters being weak, is the horrible boss design that spefically makes you unable to use 90% of the characters on any given boss.

I believe Roscaelifer has the potential to revive interest in the game based on setting alone. Nips LOVE Britain. They have an image of it being both a cosy place full of polite tea sippers in frilly clothes and the “cool” side of the country like all of the rock bands and subcultures.
