How are you guys feeling about the upcoming expansion? Optimistic? Hopeful? Personally I doubt that I can be worse than Dawntrail, it's the first expansion I have yet to finish, the story just didn't work for me at all(Although I did like Wuk Lamat ironically enough)Personally I hope that they actually do something to spice up the normal leveling zones, adding some better and more engaging event's and maybe even allowing you to gear up to whatever the newest dungeon rewards in Item-level. I always enjoyed leveling trough fates more than dungeons so any improvements in that department would bee great.

>>564677225im apprehensive; i'm one of the few people who would openly admit to actually really liking the combat in the game as it is. i think the 2 min meta is nice since with the 2 min you have a lull and a peak in combat, and that gives you time to analyze and digest the fight, etc. between bursting and doing the actionwith the new combat system (which admittedly, i haven't gotten to look in depth at what was given about it, so im working off mostly secondhand info) it seems like everyone is functionally on 30-60 sec tank damage rotations, which i think isn't all that engaging. ultimately it's going to be a "don't know it until you try it" situation, but im a little worried especially since my main is dancer which from as far as i can tell is just not going to function remotely the same with the removal of party damage buffs as part of the overhaul. the character customization stuff is whatever, anything you could do with the new features was doable with m*ds, and frankly this might be a case where its too much flexibility. cross-dc duty and party finder matchmaking is wonderful though it's about timealliance raid is just collabslop whatever, although ive never actually seen NGE so as far as im concerned it's just gonna be another 10 years of rei-d vs a-blue-ka and i don't really have a horse in this race
