On other forums, many have pointed out that Vamdemon's introduction leads to an evolutionary episode: in Adventure, when he finally appears physically and fights the Digidestined, it allows Piyomon to become Garudamon, and in Ghost Game, it unlocked Canoweissmon... And I'm only talking about introductions because, in terms of combat, we could add Tailmon as Angewomon and, in a certain vein, Palmon as Lilymon (he's present when Dark Tyranomon fights Togemon, and once Lilymon has tamed Dark Tyranomon, he fights Lilymon). So we can say that Vamdemon is a sure bet for an evolutionary episode, and it would be ironic if Wolvermon evolved into some kind of werewolf (remember, Pristimon is closer to a tanuki than a dog, and Wolvermon is more of a badger or even a wolverine, which isn't canine at all).
