>>564807158week 6 really makes me hope they do more weeks with different styles where literally everything is changed to fit with it. the game over and pause themes, the UI (i assume they will add a proper week 6-specific health bar in the update, it's all that's missing), even the screen fade out when you hit retry is done pixelated when you look closer. when dave said he wants stuff like playable characters to stay consistent across all weeks i'm sure he means stuff like that, because aside from just the sprites and unique animations, every single playable character has their own week 6 versions of their game over and pause themes too. that's 18 non-playable chiptune remixes that they gotta do for just that one week. it seems unnecessary but it's just really cool to me that you can play as a specific character in a week and they will have unique songs for the two being "combined."
dave has had his eye on a few community ocs. for what purpose, god only knows lol. we'll see if anything comes of it.
