It's just that shield gating only takes an aura slot, and something to protect you from fart clouds slipping past your shields. While health tanks need to give up: an arcane slot, usually triple umbra, and some way to heal. All while still hitting the armor threshold and having a plan for mag procs. They really should at the very least undo the nerf.
