You can kind of control when you engage with those though, as the vast majority of them are side quests related to your named Greymane friends (not the other playable characters), so when you see a quest with one of those in the midgame, you can brace yourself accordingly and wait until you've cooled down to engage in it.You can't skip dialogue in general and can only "fast forward", but they recently added an option to increase the speed of said forwarding. I set mine to 3x and haven't had a problem with dialogue speed since. It also helps that I've already completed all the utter dogshit quests previously mentioned.

Grounded boss attacks are very easy to dodge. You roll into them and then their attack takes them just past you and you just strafe behind their back and punish them. I always thought if you’re too close to the boss their attacks will hit but the hitboxes for most is pretty tight.

I probably could have beaten him in a few more attempts but I was getting pissed.So far this might be one of the best open world games. abyss artifacts used to updgrade gear is sorta restrictive no? presumably everyone uses artifacts mostly to upgrade kliff and/or oongka/damiane, and you pretty much need to do that in order to have a chance at beating the game, but now they added easy mode so people could just switch to easy to beat a boss and they dont have to invest in core stats or skills they dont need anymore. and then with the amount of gear in this game you eventually find something nicer looking you want to rock and the abyss artifacts you put in the older gear you have just sits there forever while abyss artifacts get harder to come by via the skill xp bar that apparently takes longer to fill up with each new artifact awarded + a cap on it

What do you think is better for body armor in a hand to hand build? With kuku flame armor you can hit 15 crit and get the 10 flame res but with a different body armor you get three more abyss slots. Youll have to put one slot as crit to make up for the lost 3+ crit on your gloves or boots so you gain two slots but lose 10 fire res by using different armor pretty much

Which do you think is the most fun way to play as damiane for regular exploring? I was using the 2h greatsword because it has an auto counter like the spear, but it's kind of boring and feels slow honestly 99% of the time
>that end of chapter 8 where you're forced to play as Damiane Grabbed my kuku flame spear, chugged the no spirit consumption for 8 seconds potion and completely obliterated the boss.Only invested ONE point into Damiane and that was the turning slash elemental imbuement, otherwise she had no gear.
The archery competition boils down to playing until you get a round where the opponent misses enough that you win.
