The magic resist you get out of it can let you facetank a surprising amount of bullshit. Wall is perhaps the best value point in the game, leveling it gives you some nice stuff but just saying fuck you to movement is a treat few heroes get. Turret is only useful for applying spirit debuffs or creating a death star laser on the defensive. The 4 is very strong but makes you a sitting duck on 2 stam hero with no escapes, try to combo it with your team's CC.

The parry window is much too generous. With counterspell I can see the anvil show up over my head as vindicta, hit parry, watch the animation finish and I can move, THEN the anvil hits, and I don't get stunned and I get healed and a movespeed buff. That's so bogus its unreal.
There's no actual matchmaking in this game, it just puts twelve random people in a lobby as fast as possible. The rank you see in your profile really is based on how much you've been winning, but in any given match it places you with a random selection of eleven players ranging from initiate to eternus. This is why virtually every match is a stomp in one direction or the other, based on who gets the most shitters on their team. If you have the "average rank" setting on for your post match screen, it just chooses a random rank within a few steps of your own rank and lies that it's the average. Source: my uncle works at valve
