>>565071754I have about 40 hours or so. It’s neat, but it has the problem of only about four or five of the classes actually being useful. No one plays pyro, demoman, or spy, for example, and scout is exclusively used for objectives and not combat. Heavy and soldier have the closest direct skill transfer from TF2 to TFC; the only issue being that sometimes the only server with any amount of people in it are that one that just plays 2fort, and heavy isn’t so useful on that map. Like in 2007 TF2, engineer cannot move his buildings once put down, nor can he upgrade dispensers and teleporters; instead of worrying that a spy will sap your buildings, you’ll instead deal with every class spamming grenades in your general vicinity and people who have done but play this game for over 20 years bhopping in front of your sentry without getting touched by it. Medic is nothing like his TF2 counterpart, and is instead a hybrid of TF2’s scout mixed with a poison-type pokemon; you will not being building uber nor really healing teammates all that often, your goal is actually to conc jump to the enemy’s team base and to try to touch everyone with your medpak which’ll infect them with a disease that’ll do chip damage over time. Sniper is the easiest class to explain: you know the TF2 unlock The Classic? Imagine if that was your only sniper rifle and the enemy sniper has been playing this game since before you were born.Anyway, I view TFC more as a neat novelty than anything else.
