LET'S FUCKING GO
>>564959938I loved silksong but hollow Knight is so much better. Silksong was so easy it felt like a pushover
>>564960092You're implying that Silksong is easier than original Hollow Knight?
>>564960181Yeah I felt the challenge from hollow Knight.Silksong was way easier for me. I even misses the nail upgrades my whole playthrough. Can't imagine how easy it will be with 80% more damage kek
I did more QTEs in RE 6 prologue than the entirety of 4 and 5 combined. And the camera sucks compared to 5.
fuck this guy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwNGkw-CO58sovl...
>>564962961Holy kino. That's Ubuntu unity right? Take me back
>>564962961Radeon drivers shitting the bed since times immemorial. Hearty KEK!
I'm doing my part!
>>564967074NiceI also sneed native Linux game releases and abandonware
>>564967074>pirating Linux
>>564968085Seeding doesn't necessarily mean pirating retard. File sharing is very common amongst Linux distributions to lessen server loads. It's an official way of downloading the image file
>Ubuntu has a newer kernel than archYikes
Bump
>>564973331Why even? Cachy has shipped 7.0, and arch is not even testing it.
>>564962123Yeah, I remember him giving me troubles back then as well.
>aim with my shotgun at a crowd of enemies for crowds control purpose>get interrupted by a cutscene>die because gameplay doesn't stop during it holy shit, RE 6 is frustrating to play
>Steam Controller 2 has only 250Hz polling rateI think I'll stick with my Gamesaar Cyclone 2 Pro.
>>564995169Really? No fucking way! I hope they'll fix it with a firmware.
>>564995169This is my current gulikit kk3 max
>>564998681How to get crisp font rendering like that?
There's a native Linux version of that new Super zsnes GPU emulator now btw. Don't like the weird texture filter but smw in 16:9 is pretty cool.https://zsnes.com/
>>5650010984K monitor with 2x scaling
>>565001243>There's a native Linux version of that new Super zsnes GPU emulator now btwhttps://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/zsnes/-/commit/2f32400f0cfbad7c4e93f1ff2ec1046875e413e2>authored Apr 9, 2010
>>565001243Looks like a painting on a canvas. >>565001449Oh nice good to know
I fucking LOVE QTEs!
>>565002061super zsnes is written from scratch by the original developers, only released yesterday.
>>565002848 Imagine being able to read
That's it for the main campaign. It was pretty nice. Will play DLC campaigns.>>565002848So you mean this is not the old zsnes thing and completely new one? Let's try it one then.
>Unity applications soulless...
soul status: butchered
im sorry linux bros i just cant do it anymore. its so fucking shit. im not cucking myself any longerim going to become a custom windows OS ISO/playbook chad. im thinking AtlasOS
>>565003804This is original for comparison.
>>564998681and this is on my gamesaar, just for 50 bucks, half the price of the steam controller 2I'll just wait for it to get cheaper years down the line, my og steam controller still werks, but I rarely use it nowadays
>>565003964>im going to become a custom windows OS ISO/playbook chad. im thinking AtlasOS>custom ISOsDisgustingI almost threw a tantrum at work when coworkers tried to install some custom Windows 10 ISO on a working laptop instead of MSDN image>>565004169Nice
>>565004169If I were buying controller today I would buy Flydigi Apex 5
>>565004363Dont reply to obvious bait. Doesn't deserve attention. >>565004169What's the application to check polling rate? Also what gamesir do you use?
>>565004820>$160what
>>565004902I've noticed that too, but I don't know where this price comes from in western countries. You can get it for like $70 in Russia.
>>565005249>in Soviet Russia, controller buys you
>>565004881>What's the application to check polling rate?gamepadla-polling, it's on AU?>Also what gamesir do you use?cyclone 2, if you're interested in buying it, check aliexpress, it's way cheaper than on western shops and there are sales constantly, same with other pads from chinese companies
>>565005687>AU?meant AUR
>>564995169Damn, I just tested and my ps4 controller polling rate is 250hz when connected and only 120hz when using bluetooth
>>565006045Dualsense is also 250 Hz I should just an hero
Apparently 8 GiB of VRAM still isn't enough for winshit lmaohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJEo6Kb6Rhg
>>565003804WHAT WERE THEY THINKING even rgui looks better what the fuck
>>565003804Looks like they're staying true to modern remasters kek
Voices just cracked wukong. I guess crimson desert is still at least 2 weeks from now. This game is aggressively mid I personally won't play it, but people seem to enjoy it.
4 days until fresh Steam hardware survey stats.I predict Linux will drop back down to less than 4% but still remain higher than in January.
so I noticed that by default the UI scaling on retroarch is a lot smaller than on windowsboth of them are a 1.00x UI scaling which is the defaultis this how retroarch is on linux or maybe its a me issue?im on arch, using the retroarch appimage
anytime soon..
>>565036908Ok im getting there now
hey don't die
>>565046786
>>565037301>NTR: the game
>>565016279I'll play this after I am finished with another game after DS3, too many souls games lately and DS3 is really boring.
>>565033080Are you using display scaling on either Windows or Linux?
>>565050329nomaybe its a plasma issue?
>>565052482I think retroarch is trying to calculate UI scaling by itself and uses different logic on Windows and Linux. Ideally if they want to do such thing they should make DPI aware application and rely on display scale set by system.
>>565052670Isn't that in the settings? I remember a menu scale option in there somewhere
>>565047094What did he meaned by this?
O hi!
Tux is broken
>>565057447>screen recording of mpv videodisgusting
>decide to undervolt my 9070xt while upping up the VRAM clock>get a small performance boost with lower power>decide to try push the VRAM clock a little more>crash>have to set nomodeset to disable it temporarily or it will keep on crashingIs there a way to have LACT just choose the default settings on startup? Or do I just have to disable it on startup? Assuming if it's disabled it will revert the GPU settings. I'm kind of assuming it won't due to it making edits to that configuration file. It'd just make life a bit easier if I didn't have to enter nomodeset even if that's barely an effort.
So far, every Resident Evil game I've played until 6 hasn't crashed once, now in 6h of RE 6, I crashed twice, losing progress and had to redo 15+ min parts again. At least the game has no performance issues like people have been reporting on Windows.
>>565059878Yeah, you could rtfmhttps://github.com/ilya-zlobintsev/LACT/wiki/Recovering-from-a-bad-overclock
>>565062315Thanks.
>>565059878Keep in mind that VRAM clock eats at TBP no matter what on RDNA4.
>>565062315Lazy anon btfo
>>565063002I lowered the power limit as well.>>565063270I looked on the home(code) page of the github and tried to look it up via search engines and it never really brought me to that. I forget about the wiki tab on github pages seeing as not all have them, or they have an offsite wiki.
>>565057447rest in peace
>>565057447I love this little tux like you wouldn't believe
Finished Leon/Helena campaign, despite the gameplay improvements on 4 & 5, the game is frustrating to play, due to camera, qtes, cutscene interruption and visibility, like they took the criticism of 5 being to bright so seriously so they went full retard and made 6 too fucking dark, like I can't see shit for most of the time. And the crashing of course, ruined my enjoyment of the game immensely, having to redo entire sections of the game over and over again isn't fun, they should've made it save on every fucking checkpoint and not after every loading screen where the crashing happens.
https://github.com/moonlight-stream/moonlight-qt>Last release: Sep 17, 20214>Last commit: yesterdayI don't get it. Why would you develop an application for so long without at least intermediate beta releases? Imagine if they'll make release at some point and there would be so much untested broken shit?
>>565059508The game was a region of my screen, cutting it like this was faster than using kdenlive o algo
Well well well look who we have here.
>>565083773NiceWhat game though, is it Linux native?
>>565006045>>565006312there's a dkms package that allows you to overclock ds4/5 to 500 or 1000hz, along with other usb devices too. dunno about bluetooth.
>>565085273eye divine cybermancy
>>565085304What is it called? Do you mean "hid-sony-ds3usb-dkms" ? the name says ds3, but does it support ds4/ds5 as well?
>>565085463https://github.com/p0358/usb_oc-dkms
>>565085603also, maybe this should get added to the op if there's space?
>>565085273What the other anon said. And ironically it is not.
>>565085603Thanks, it worked. My ds4 is now running at 1000hz
>>565085603Imagine trying to do this on winslop
>>565087164there's a gui program for that>https://github.com/LordOfMice/hidusbfbut>Warning - overclocking may not work for Low Speed USB devices which controlled by non Microsoft USB stack, like OEM USB 3.x drivers at Windows 7 or with the newest Microsoft drivers.>Warning 2 - you SHALL disable Memory Integrity to load patching versions of HIDUSBF driver under recent versions of Windows 10 x64 or Windows 11.
