All we know so far:>The Black Lion's rally cry encourages the people to wish for the Black Lion's defeat.>The Black Lion's base is powered by dark plants that spawn Typhon-related monsters.>In one of the branch removal quests, a voice warns Chaldea to get out of here, but Fujimaru only recognizes her if you played any of the Typhon events. In the same scene, François notes that plant girl won't get her wish.Last year the Typhon event came after OC4.If this event was supposed to be before this all makes sense. Also Alcides is the only character connected to Typhon and the monsters spawned by those trees are Typhon related like the Dreadnaught from the Sanda Grail Front event.

Fate Strange Fake is genuently everything I've wanted from the nasuverse. I’ve felt for years that whilst we get good stuff, nothing in the Nasuverse since Zero that really uses the setting to its full potential. This is the first thing I’ve seen in years that isn’t just using the setting to sell merchandise and FGO gacha shit, but is actually using the Fate setting to bring in elements from all the works in canon to make a Grail War that feels like a real Grail War again.
