As for the other links Camellia is there to set up cards in your grave yard for the 3 spell threshold, Zeke helps clear up the main monster zone after stealing something with widow anchor, and Zero is basically what you want to go into as often as you can since it serves as a search/recover option and an interruption. As for general tips, the biggest one to be aware of is the restrictions on all of your cards, otherwise you'll screw yourself over. I've lost many a game starting out because I kept on forgetting Zero can only use one of its effects per turn missing out on lethal. Otherwise there's a lot of guides on YouTube on how to play the deck. I highly suggest looking one up because there's a ton of essential interactions to know

So for example your 1 activation of after burners gets rid of two of your opponents cards. Your 1 activation of engage gives you an additional card in advantage instead of 1 and so on. That's the strength of the deck. So basically, try and make the most out of your removal with the card restrictions in mind and plan out how your interaction is going to work for your turn and your opponents. You're already aware of how quickly you can run out if resources, so always try not to over extend. The best tip for strikers I've come across was "how do I achieve what I want to do with as few cards as possible", which should help you out as your planning your lines too.

I suggested the fiendsmith and primite engines since they are very flexible and widely used. And you can combine them together for a Fiendsmith Control deck if you don't have much to play. The fiendsmith part gives you access to a double special summon negate or an omni negate as part of your end board all while serving double duty to bait out hand traps and being a self sufficient removal engine. The primite part is also a small engine that gives you access to normal and dragon monster options and some of the strongest removal and negation in the form of drill beam. There's others, but keep these ones as a strong foundation since you can slap them on to almost anything for a bit extra power

Primite is usually used in slower control decks or decks that use normal monsters. You have other stuff like the sky striker engine and radiant typhoon engines to increase consistency by acting as a starter or draw engine respectively. Not every deck needs an extra engine mind you and not every engine works with every deck. It's just that if you find yourself being drawn to a certain deck that might be a little weaker or isn't self sufficient, an engine will help shore up some of their weaknesses. Doesn't hurt to do some research or experiment.
