Wait a minute. Looking back...I call shenanigans! In the Sonic story, this scene continues as normal, without Blaze mentioning Cream or Tails finding Eggman's letter, yeah? HOWEVER, Cream still shows up for a quick line towards the end of the scene in Sonic's version, so the kidnapping flat-out just doesn't happen there. And yet, in Sonic's ending, you still see Blaze and Cream reuniting in the background! So that's another sign that Sonic is the less reliable POV. They could've easily written it so Sonic wasn't aware of the kidnapping from his perspective, but that had the endgames contradict.Anyway, I was inspired to replay the game after an anon's Tails Adventures Remake mishap, because Sonic Rush Rerun will most probably be like Sonic 2 HD before it and never ever get anywhere near completion.
