Well, I can't say she didn't have it coming, but I am disappointed they ended up killing off Liveryn after all this time. I just think it would be nice for variety to have more playable nikkes who are completely irredeemable, cause we basically just have Crow and that's it. And then I was like "At least we can still have Fragile- oh." It's one thing to kill off characters that are already playable, but it's frustrating that they can cocktease us with these potential playable characters for literal years only to suddenly go "nevermind they're dead" and give us nothing. With the dead pilgrims I could realistically imagine them coming back and indeed they seem to have already laid the groundwork for Liberalio's return but I just don't see any reason for it to happen with these two which makes it all the more annoying that they were never playable. On the flipside it was pretty satisfying to finally see that fucker Doban dealt with, so at least there's that. And Sixo I guess, but again it's the same problem with Endless' great design going to waste so I hope they make an excuse to rebuild her at some point.Aside from that I enjoyed the story as usual. I think Nikke has easily been the most consistent gacha I've played in terms of having a story that I actually look forward to reading more of every update instead of thinking "oh great, more story to slog through" and inevitably dropping it. There was a point where the Four Beasts arc was starting to get tedious but that's because they insisted on running in place while putting all the focus on the Ark storyline, but I thought the Ark storyline was good. And in hindsight with it being over I like all the Beasts now so it paid off.And now, to wait months for the next story update and stress about which of my other favorite NPCs they're going to kill off without making playable, meanwhile they bravely add the new Tetra nikke Breasty McSexwithyou from a previously unmentioned squad who wants only to be your loyal wife.
