Someone tell me how accurate this is for shooting on site even as a PvE player. You definitely shoot on site in any version of Stella Montis. Regular Buried City is iffy. But Bird City and night raid are shoot on sight. Blue Gate depends and you should just be wary. Am I missing anything?

The turbine feels like a waste of time if all you are interested in doing is getting loot. It travels too much, so when you do finally kill it, you still have to run 300-500 meters, in which time some faggot that was holding his dick the whole time and didn't even know the Turbine was near, hears the explosion and loots it all. I'm fine with the difficulty of it, as it's harder to kill than a vaporizer, but it just moves too much.

Hot take but the new Arc is easily one of the best Arcs to fight alongside the leaper. It's attacks are deadly and can kill you easily BUT they are clearly choreographed and can be dodged with the right timing that is a little difficult but not ball crushingly hard. Think of something like the Vaporizer or Rocketeer. Their attacks are very very hard to dodge, so for 99% of people they have two options, they hide in a building and take potshots or they use a Wolfpack or Deadmine to one shot it. Either option is not fun at all. Compare that to the new Arc, much like the Leaper, you don't feel so compelled to hide in a house because it's attacks are very much dodgeable not like the other flying Arc. So you can actually engage with the boss fight in a fun way by timing the dodges, managing your stamina and stam shots, inbetween its lightning attacks. Like the Leaper, well-timed dodges doable and not so brutal like trying to dodge a Rocketeers 3 burst attack. Plus it flying away also makes it harder to sit in a building anyways. And you can't simply side-step the fight by one-shotting it, and if you want to use the Jupiter to kill it a mile with no risk, thats also an option but its more fun to fight it up close like with a Leaper.

The thing is, I'd enjoy doing PvP if I could shoot back at people without being banished to the shadow realm for 10 raids. The game just sucks major ass when everyone shoots on sight.

You have the customs house, the hotel, and maybe 5 buildings here and there and a couple of places in the other actual areas but the entire riverbed, the entire beach, the courts etc, theres no cover. Blue gate is the most wide open map but the rock formations work for cover.Its still possible to deal with via seeker nades.
The new map is so ass.And they continue to double down on "if we increase the number of enemies and make them ever harder to fight that will make the game more fun", but instead it's just fucking tedious and not fun at all especially since you have to use a shit ton of resources to fight them.

The hullcracker is just better in most situations because of the splash damage. It also does some if not the highest damage against exposed weak points because of the splash damage as seen here Jupiter is better at range but even against flying arc I'd rather use hullcracker once they get in close. The new big arc is probably the one time Jupiter could ve considered best unless you actually want to loot it...>>565331189
What the fuck is even the point of this map. The POIs have no loot, yet there's 2x as many arc as on other maps. But it's not a good map for arc farming, since port authority, stacking yard, and hotel are all spaceport esque vantage points for osprey griefing Is it literally just in the pool so they can slap a trial on metal detecting

>>565334024The map has industrial type loot out the ass in the stacking yards, and port authority building. Lots of batteries and processors just in general around the map. Customs house and hotel are lacking in loot stuff, but the map has much more breachable boxes scattered around and isn't so heavily focused on one looting spot like other maps. Not to mention the crazy amount of mushroom spawns in this map. SO many mushroom spawns.
The amount of flying ARC in the new map is insane. The other day I got stunlocked for 10 mins in this shed because I was being swarmed by at least 8 wasps, hornets and fireflies AND a leaper.
People complaining about the Arc have to be playing in PvP or mixed lobbies. People are always clearing the skies for the damage, people with hullcrackers, jupiters, bettinas. This is how the skies look after some time in the map.
