With this knowledge, you would take some of his tools to help you repel him as you try to save Poppy. In the end, you know his goal isn't to save the living toys from damnation. Instead, he has used the hour of joy to achieve his next goal. To engineer a way to create his personal bodyguards that could interact with the outside world. Varying in shape and design, to help him maintain the factory, where the toys ultimately failed in their purpose. making this gel not only the beings he created but also the machines as well, in some form of bioengineering. Creating special organs and muscles for this process by using this special, refined poppy gel. The last thing that is important to you is that he's using this gel for himself to not only maintain his durability from the outside world. But he's also trying to create a backup way out to escape and go into hiding. because he's aware that some government agencies are going to come back to this place. The two new characters that were introduced will help you along. Only to be killed by her, as you notice, they aren't following you. Starting the second section.

She will follow you around in the dark areas and out of direct sight. As mentally unstable as she is. Lily is laser-focused on you. Blocking areas that prevent you from escaping. She will eventually seek you out. looking for you and using her hair to reach for you. Your only way out is to use the motion tracker and slip away from her. The location has many winding paths that the player has to be careful of. Because she will spread thin threads of her hair to act as triggers to find your location. You must move around, as Lilly will grow her hair out to encircle you in.
The section will end as you will escape from her again. Fully enraging her as she failed to get you. The rest of the chapter will continue as you reach your objective. Finding the Prototype's personal experiments and projects. You would end up successfully destroying his works yourself. With you leaving the area with a sample of the sample of the refine poppy gel and documents of it. Taking it to one of your allies. Hiding it in a safe place for the future. The chapter ends with the player facing off against the Prototype. This time, using the tools you took from his area and fighting him with them. You use the instruments to disassemble the prototype and incapacitate him. As well as freeing pooppy in the process. As you watch the Prototype, unable to do anything. You were about to leave the place with Poppy. Until Lilly was finally able to catch up with where you are. ending with her directly facing you. It ends with the prototype wounded and losing his multitool arm. replacing it with his normal one back on again. You continue on your way in this location. Destroying exits and machines he was using for his operations. It ends with you facing Lilly again, but instead of chasing you. It ends with her just staring at you with a dead expression. not friendly, but not hostile either. She walks past you, as if deciding she has made up her mind. It ends with you destroying the last way out for the prototype. leaving you to set up a trap for the prototype.
It ends with you defeating the Prototype. cracking his shell and machinery. You go back to Poppy and follow her to an area that leads to the exit. only to find the Prototype not dead but in a weakened state. He chases you around as a last-ditch effort to get to Poppy. Only for him to slip on an edge and fall 20 feet onto the ground. He is found by Lilly as he asks her to aid him to get back up, only to find out that Lilly isn't responding to him.

So, in this moment, she made him stare into her eyes, as she made quick work of killing her admirer. In the end, it ends with the prototype being killed by his very own creation. just like he did for his creator. A fitting end to the architect of everything in this factory and the suffering he caused. Denied to get the loved one back from Poppy. Just as the same way Lily was denied love back to her. The player leaves Lily alone as she manically revels in her creator's death. going back to poppy and leaving the area to the lift up to the surface.
In conclusion, you say goodbye to Poppy. The prototype is dead. Lily deals the final blow, bringing everything full circle. Lily doesn't pursue you. You leave with the policy and documents of the facility. The rest of the cast live; Sawyer goes into hiding. The setup for the next game happens. The remaining toys go to Poppy, as she rebuilds everything. You get your happy ending, and that's it.
