VN players will majority go in blind assuming that’s the optimal experience and with HL it can give you a very horrible experience. It wasn't spectacular but it was solid, I thought.The issue is going back for the other endings after your first pair. The route barely changes based on your decisions until the very end and begins to feel like a slog, even forcing you to conveniently happen to be at the school for every fight every time and then not even changing most of the fight dialogue. To me it's easily the route that's hurt most by the game's structure wanting it to meet an ending quota, which is a shame because it does have some cool ideas going on, it just had to spread them too thin.
