Fragile, Liveryn, Eyeri, Logey and Nayuta are practically dead since theyve been written out of the story and Modernia is just comatose i dont really get how i can form a connection to a character if they're just dead. Fragile and Liveryn aren't playable yet but when they are it'll be very apparent the giant continuity problem of how the commander has counseling sessions with them. We have had like what 5 or 6 deaths since goddess fall and nikke doesn't really have many characters important to the story to begin with and i see shift writing themselves into a corner where they either have to undo the deaths which is just as bad or spam more random previously unseen characters into the story cause the previous cast will have all died. Deaths just feel hollow and meaningless if we gain nothing from them in the story, we gained nothing from Liveryn dying and we gained nothing from Fragile dying and we gained nothing from Modernia dying either. The story and events have become very formulaic to the point i know anis star part 2 will just have Hanson or Riss or Mustang die a pointless death that we gain nothing from. Ever since goddess fall every event and story chapter just feels like an overreaction to the goddess fall praise and a harem game where every waifu is dead is just pointless.
