Playing this game is suffering.

Re-started a hunderd times. Game runs wihout issues wiht maybe an occasioanl CTD every few hours.. but THEN. Suddenly, the game starts freezing in way that I can't tab out of, can't get to task manager, have to re-start PC. Nothing in the logs Icna see. Once these freezes happen it usually singlas the death of a playtrough. There is no rhyme or reason. I clear half the game before the freeze. Another time the game nukes itself shortly after reaching Riverwood.

But even worse, now suddenly the game freezes on trying to load a save game. Like my entire profile has been corrupted.

The only solution I can think of is to backup my entire profile/save folders regularly and hope to god it works.

that's been my experience for the past few months after getting into modding skyrim for the first time. only thing i learned was that it's best to make profiles/LOs for specific, focused playthroughs instead of putting all your eggs in one giant nolvus/lorerim-wannabe mega modlist basket. build a solid but small profile with combat/enemy/perk/main settlement stuff first that you know will be 100% ready to go, then treat that as a sacred foundation before going crazy

Probably because these animations were originally taken from For Honor which features a functional target lock-on system.
This is the prime example of Skyrim modding. They took something designed for a completely different game and simply crammed it into Skyrim. The animations from For Honor were literally designed for 1-on-1 combat in open areas, the exact opposite of Skyrim with its groups of enemies and narrow corridors.

I've done the engineer route before using Ordinator. The first half of the game sucks and the second half is sort of just boring. It's basically conjurer with extra steps. Tonal Architect also heavily carried that playthrough and if you think about it those are also basically just destruction spells with extra steps.
But then again there's other mods you can use now that didn't exist when I did that, like Dwemer Deep so it probably could work out better for you. Also if you want to make things interesting using follower death and injury chance could force you to not rely on followers

I'm ready mod list set, quick run around to test, dyndolod, bodyslide, pandora, so many compatibility patch hubs that im not sure what issues theyre even fixing any more.

All I gotta do now is come up with a fucking name

What alternate starts do you guys tend to use? I usually default to escaping the abandoned prison. There's the additional alternate start mod that had some very cool ideas like spawning in a mini dungeon in coldharbour, being dumped in the sewers or underground (if you have the respective mods) and several others. However the mod became bloated beyond reason and has now custom skill trees and such.

I think for every point above 50 it provides like extra points to every skill w/ some other stuff like arena betting and mehrunes razor having higher chances to succeed
skill in oblivion is much stronger than attributes e.g. 100 blade does far more than 100 str
it's probably worth early game but idk if luck allows skills to go beyond 100 in effectiveness so it might not be worth as much endgame
that said endgame oblivion sucks and I wouldn't worry about it because the only thing that seems to matter by then is ur choice enchants and magic effects
