do hot/cold scales even matter for spells like heat from hell/grip of winter anymore?i did a test (that also taught me scale-modifying spells like wolven winter don't take effect until after battles) with grip and despite being in H2, it still managed to get a crusher 100% fatigued out before it reached my mage all the way in the back (also didn't realize it worked against inanimates, neat)I figured it'd be causing there to be more clouds forming on the field, but it didn't seem to matter, it still covered most of the ground it looked like.

So there maybe some indirect interaction in that regards. Additionally, scales should impact the chances to freeze or catch something on fire.

>>565560542It would be best on a tanky unit that lives long enough for the clouds to do work, but tanky units also tend to have bad attack density, and the few how do have good attack density would probably rather just kill shit faster and leverage their bulkyness that way. Also the clouds can fuck your own guys so you need some cold resistance on top of that. There's also the meme strat of using it on sacred archers, but those are pretty damn rare to have access too, and its still not that scary of a strat.
