The more I reflect on the story the more I feel like it was actually alright, and the problem was out of all things just the execution. Basically only the final fight was executed well, but the Fractidus involvement was poorly executed, Denia was poorly executed, Hiyuki was poorly executed, every character in the cast was shafted, even the Aemeth moments felt rushed, the final message thing had significance to Lahai Roi but just felt flat in the way they presented it.Wow yes Hiyuki is a parallel to the Rover yes pretty cool but like in the way you introduced her like who cares?I feel like almost everything could've been fixed if Fractidus and Denia had like 1 more hour of screen time, or even just 30 minutes, but hey I guess we gotta save her to maximize Denia banner pulls, better go collect some runes instead.
