Crown's backstory is very vague but we know that she's a regular nikke from a regular nikke squad presumably from the ark whose commander and squad mates died. Obviously they look extremely similar with differences easily explainable by the body change, which wouldn't massively alter her "ideal" self most likely. I think there's honestly a good amount to work with for a solid redemption arc and obviously we aren't getting yoyo playable without one.
