A friend of mine who was OOA last season and streams [I will not disclose his Twitch] went on a eight loss-streak last night into C1. I watched a few of his matches, because at a certain point you have to wonder if the person losing that many times is the problem, but after watching a few matches I can safely say that this game is just unapologetically coinflippy. The very first match he played; he was forced to fill and lost because one of his dps were a support main who went 8/11 on Moonknight. At one point he clipped a player who was so bad that they took out their Punisher shotgun and started shooting a Hela ultimate for BB damage (Keep in mind this is Eternity). He even played with Salxm who is known for being a very good Spider-Man OTP in high rank and they lost because Salxm got target-banned.It just got me thinking how uncomfortable this game is to play, because you really dont know when you should put it down or keep mining for those diamonds.

The reality of this though is usually just that your team gets tied up in a team fight way back from point, loses one or two in the process of killing a diver or two, then can't advance on point effectively, and you lose. This is why team fights are supposed to happen on point, but backliners in this game think they can't move up if there is an enemy present on their screen and so strand themselves way back nearer to spawn than the point so they're stuck as easy targets.
