As graphic fidelity increases(slow as it may be on Nintendos end, the cheap fuckers), which direction should Fire Emblem go? Should it go in the blatant anime almost cartoony non realistic aesthetic like Dragon Quest does where graphics don't really matter, should it go like what Final Fantasy VII remake does where it's an obvious anime/Japanese game but still has very high quality models that have a close to realism level, or should it do what games like Resident Evil has been doing and use face models and body capture to make as close to real life models as possible.Fire Emblem kind of sits in this weird spot where it's not all campy anime shit but also not super realistic.I think going this route would be pretty good for FE, because the world aesthetic makes up for it more.
