Now Ill start by saying at no point am I leaving this game. Its gotten me through some tough times and unless BP goes fully Nuclear IlI continue to support the game. With that being said for as much as ive been trying to ignore it the Ongoing drama between BP and the CN community sadly isnt something I can just act like isnt happening anymore. Between CN players outrage and the alleged terrible way BP is handling said outrage its scaring me about what the future holds. Hopefully it just ends up being a minor setback and its remedied soon but the way its looking rn the game is due for a good chunk of player loss and thats scary.

The realists here know BP already took the dark path when they decided to make a gacha instead of a normal game. The only props I'll give them for is they sometimes try not to be the worst offender when following industry trends
They already follow the industry trend of 50/50's at the very start of the game
Then they followed the trend of some characters having powerful dupes
Then they followed the trend of separation of standard and limited banners
Then they followed the trend of restrictive team building and content designed to only shill a specific archetype
And they will continue to follow industry trends like spending events
I'll tell you what I think is going to happen after this
They're not going to stop following industry trends
They're going to realize most these complaints were triggered and amplified by how Merel was handled, and they're going to put a tight leash on the writers and only allow them write the story in a way that helps sell characters and they'll probably fire the PR guy
Game balance wise they already know they have a problem because they've been trying to recruit a game balancer for the past 6 months but at the end of the day whoever they recruit is not going to deviate too much from the typical gacha game balance

first character to have a +1AP skill. When she ults she auto-casts/uses her skills as AoE so its alot easier to get cards for your main dps characters instead of getting cluttered by support cards you dont really need to use like loperas. Has a really good FuA buff that nearly everyone except for impromptu interacts in some way so you can fit her with loads of different teams even if they have their own +1AP 6* like lorentz or moldir.
