With Sky Striker, what you gain in flexibility of play, easy resource generation, and OTK potential you have to accept that the way you interact while powerful, comes with unique restrictions and you have to sometimes think of what you're going to do turns in advance. It's a good deck and people see success with it for a reason. Just keep at it, you'll see success in time

I like Assault Mode. It was cool in the event trading my handtraps for unga bunga Assault Mode Crimson Blader or Assault Mode Stardust. It is pretty win more and it doesn't really fit in Synchrons in the normal format since you'll have to run Crimson Blader + Nightwinged Cleric.You could probably do a smaller engine of 3x Field Spell + 2-3x Sonic Warrior + 1 Assault Mode Activate + 1 Stardust Assault Mode but eh, I think in normal format the handtraps or emergency tele engine are probably better...

Saw that extra deck cards can be assigned different protectors now. Doesn't this just work against you whenever facedown on the field is relevant? Like getting Daruma'd and the opponent can easily tell which card is which if they didn't pay attention on activation, or maybe you use Shifting Shadows/Magical Hats for whatever reason and the protectors completely expose the ED monster. The few times I had encountered Jack-in-the-Hand the protectors make it clear which card in the hand belongs to the opponent
