You go to pity once and you get one of the 5, then for the next time you hit the banner and go to 88 only the 4 you didn't get are in the pool, then it continues in that pattern until you have gotten all 5 specifically from pity and then it resets. So if you only want one specific ability and have the shittiest luck imaginable it takes 440 pulls to hard guarantee it. These are also for general pool abilities though that you could in theory just get for winning a match or watching an ad. The upcoming Sephiroth banner has much less bloat but is limited so you can't get them later
