TV mode is fucking awful.It's the perfect example of how bad "Tell, not show." is in the media and games industry right now. It's the movie equivalent of having two characters in an elevator talk about past adventures instead of having us experience those adventures with them.The mode is, quite literally, just a Pokemon Puzzle from 1996 repeated ad infinitum while non-voiced characters say what's happening and you just have to use le imagination.It's LAZZZZYYYYThe most fun I have with it is stuff like with Grace's or Rain where you have to do Space Invader type game modes, or reload artillery pieces to fire at the large construction machines. The worst offender is the goddamn Hollow Zero stuff where your ... teammates ... suck donkey dick and just attack whatever the fuck they want and only get like 15hp.I hate telling people how to have fun, so I won't. But what I will say is that this mode is just objectively fucking bad. It's cool they tried something new but this cannot be considered a flagship aspect of the game. It should have been slowly morphed and phased out into the more Mario 64 platforming with the Bangboo with more interesting puzzles ala Glover from the late 90's. For anyone wondering, I played the game for about 2 hours just to do a bit of testing.It takes approximately 20 mins to get to the pull screen, but your polychrome count will be very low. By doing a bit of side stuff you will have 36 standard pulls, obviously meant for new players to fall into the trap and just pick whoever they think looks cool (nothing wrong with that, its just frontloading a potential long term issue)You will not have enough polychrome (thoroughly tested) until about 1.5 to 2 hours in. If you scrounge together absolutely everything you can it will be on average 1h 45min before you do your first 10 pull.So with some napkin math, if you already have an account but want the up and coming banner character, you are *technically* better off just making around 8 new accounts, playing each for about 1.5h-2h, and then using a 10 pull. You won't collect it on your main account (no dur) but this is technically more of a time save than spending 16+ hours on your main account and potentially another 20h if you lose a 50/50.
